Jerry Bradley is Professor of English at Lamar University. He is the author of five books, including The Movement: British Poets of the 1950s (Twayne) and two collections of poetry: Simple Versions of Disaster (University of North Texas Press), which was commended by the Dictionary of Literary Biography, and The Importance of Elsewhere (Ink Brush Press). His poetry has appeared in many literary magazines, including New England Review, American Literary Review, Modern Poetry Studies, Poetry Magazine, and Southern Humanities Review. He is Poetry Editor of Concho River Review and past-president of the Texas Association of Creative Writing Teachers, the Conference of College Teachers of English, and the Southwest/Texas Popular Culture Association.
